We offer consultations for health concerns, follow-ups, second opinions, and telehealth consultations for select conditions. Whether it’s a skin flare-up or long-term condition, our team is here to support you.
Consult Fee: $109.90 (Mon–Fri), $129.90 (Saturday)
Urgent Consultations
When your pet needs to be seen quickly.
We reserve a limited number of urgent consult slots each day for pets who need immediate attention. These are typically available for:
- Vomiting, diarrhea, or not eating
- Lethargy
- Signs of pain or limping
- Sudden skin or ear flare-ups
- Anxiety or visible distress
Urgent consults are prioritised for existing clients, but exceptions for new clients may be made depending on the urgency.
These appointments are not suitable for mild or non-urgent concerns.
Urgent Consult Fee: $170 (Mon–Fri), $190 (Saturday)

Diagnostic Testing In-House
Our in-house laboratory allows us to run many tests within 20–30 minutes, including:
- Blood tests (biochemistry, haematology, blood gas, and coagulation)
- Urinalysis
- Fecal testing (parasites, bacteria)
These tests help us assess:
- Liver and kidney health
- Infections and inflammation
- Hydration, glucose, and electrolyte balance
- Urinary tract issues and intestinal parasites

Blood Pressure Monitoring
High or low blood pressure can be a sign of serious illness.
Blood pressure monitoring is quick and non-invasive and is often used to assess:
- Senior pets and those with kidney disease
- Cats with hyperthyroidism or heart disease
- Pets with suspected neurological issues or seizures

Diagnostic Imaging: X-rays & Ultrasound
Our on-site digital X-ray and ultrasound machines allow us to:
- Evaluate bones, joints, and chest or abdominal structures
- Check for foreign objects or blockages
- Guide procedures like fluid drainage or biopsies
For more complex imaging, we can refer to visiting radiology specialists or external imaging centres.

Endoscopy
Minimally invasive diagnostics and foreign body removal.
Endoscopy is a valuable tool for diagnosing gastrointestinal or airway conditions and can also be used to safely retrieve swallowed foreign objects.
Our team uses this technique to:
- Visualise the GI tract and respiratory system
- Take targeted biopsies
- Remove foreign bodies without major surgery


Specialist Referrals
Advanced care when your pet needs it.
We collaborate with a range of visiting specialists and trusted referral hospitals for complex or advanced cases.
This includes:
- Internal medicine
- Radiology and advanced imaging
- Cardiology
- Surgery
Hospitalisation
Our hospital facilities are designed with your pet’s emotional and physical wellbeing in mind:
- Separate dog and cat wards to reduce stress
- Hospitalisation with IV fluids, injectable medications, oxygen therapy, and monitoring
- Owners are welcome to visit during hospital stays and even be present for some treatments when appropriate
- We offer overnight care for stable patients, though it is not continuously supervised
For pets requiring 24-hour monitoring, we coordinate with nearby emergency hospitals.

How quickly will I get test results?
For most in-house blood, urine, and faecal tests, results are ready within 20–30 minutes. This means we can often start treatment the same day.
Do you offer blood gas and clotting tests in-house?
Yes! We have in-house capability for blood gas and coagulation testing, which can be vital in urgent care situations.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
We recommend calling ahead so we can triage your pet appropriately. We do our best to accommodate urgent cases on the same day.
Is endoscopy available for all pets?
Endoscopy is used for select cases and may require a consult with a vet first. If needed, we’ll help you determine the right next step.
What if my pet needs overnight care?
We do offer overnight care for stable patients; however, it is not continuously monitored. For 24-hour supervision, we refer to trusted emergency hospitals.
Can I visit my pet while they’re hospitalised?
Yes! We encourage owner visits for pets staying with us, and you’re welcome to be present for certain treatments or procedures when suitable.
Are urgent appointments available for new clients?
Urgent consultations are prioritised for existing clients. However, depending on the situation, we may be able to accommodate new patients.
