APPOINTMENTAt Rouse Hill Family Vets your pet’s health is what is important to us. This is why our clinic provides 30 minutes consultation so we can perform a thorough health check of your pet and ensure that all your questions and concerns are dealt with thoroughly.
All of our employees have completed the fear free certification course so that your pet’s emotional wellbeing, as well as their physical wellbeing, is considered during their visits.
We service all life stages of your pet from their puppy or kitten vaccination and checkups to end of life care. We are happy to answer any question you have about your pet’s health and ensure that the care we provide is gold standard and stress-free.
Consultations
Not only do our vets perform consults but our nurses have wide knowledge on a variety of different topics in which your pet may be able to benefit from including dental health, healthy weight management, nail trims, arthritis injections and preventative care such as flea and worming treatments.
Consultations consist of: Patient history assessment, discussion around your concerns, physical examination and recommendations, and treatment plan for your pet.

Price: $104.50
Additional charges may be incurred for an emergency, long and after-hours consultations.
What To Expect During A Consultation
The veterinarian will then have a 5-10-minute discussion with you about your pet to understand their relevant patient history and your current concerns.
We will then provide a fear-free examination of your pet with assistance from one of our nurses if required. Our veterinarian is then able to make clinical recommendations and suggest testing if needed. As we have a wide range of in house testing available we are generally able to provide rapid turn around on tests during most appointments.
We are then able to provide appropriate treatment and end the consultation with our recommendations for ongoing care and home and book in a follow-up appointment to ensure your pet has returned to good health. We are also able to provide an email summary of our recommendations at the end of the consultation.
Booking A Consultation
We have two ways to book appointments:
- You may call or text 02 9086 9130 to request an appointment. As you can understand if we are with a patient we are unable to answer calls but will get back to you as promptly as we can.
- Book an appointment online. If you are unable to find a time with our online booking system please give us a call as will do our best to find a time that is suitable.
