Over the weekend, we hosted a two-day Canine Rehabilitation Nurse Workshop right here at our clinic, welcoming eight passionate veterinary nurses — five of whom are part of our RHFV family.

Led by Dr Ah Young, a highly regarded Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist, and supported by Dr Shin (Dr Ah Young’s resident) along with our very own Dr Belinda (Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist), this hands-on workshop offered in-depth training in advanced rehabilitation techniques that help pets recover stronger, faster, and with less pain.

Workshop Highlights

Over two immersive days, nurses explored:

• Canine anatomy and movement principles
• Manual therapy techniques
• Therapeutic modalities (Laser, TENS/NMES, Ultrasound, Heat/Cold)
• Orthopaedic & neurological exams
• Post-op rehabilitation for cruciate and disc disease
• Real-world case-based exercises, treatment planning, and rehab goal setting

This event was not just educational—it was AVNAT-approved for 10 CPD points, reinforcing our commitment to gold-standard veterinary nursing.
